From Initial Consultation to Project Completion
SC&P CONTRACTS LIMITED provides groundworks, earthworks, drainage, site preparation, and plant and machinery hire services for a wide range of commercial and construction projects.
Headquartered in Northern Ireland, we serve contractors, property developers, and commercial clients across Northern Ireland and other designated regions within the UK.
Our service process encompasses the entire project lifecycle—from assessing your requirements, preparing quotations, and finalizing contracts, to managing financial arrangements throughout the duration of our partnership.
Step 1: Submit a Project Inquiry
You may contact us to provide details regarding your proposed project.
To help us assess your requirements, please provide the following information:
Project location and specific address
Type of work required
Project overview and estimated quantities (if available)
Plant and machinery hire requirements (if applicable)
Desired start date or anticipated project schedule
Information regarding site access and any relevant supporting documentation
You can reach out to us via email or telephone using the contact details provided at the bottom of this page.
Step 2: Project Assessment and Quotation
We will evaluate the information provided, define the scope of work, and outline your specific project requirements.
Depending on the nature of your inquiry, we may request additional information or further clarification before preparing a quotation.
The quotation will detail the services to be provided, the proposed costs, and the relevant commercial terms. If the total project cost cannot be fully determined at this stage, further details will be clarified through the agreed-upon quotation and contracting process.
Before proceeding, clients should carefully review the quotation, including any underlying assumptions, exclusions, payment milestones, or project schedules.
Step 3: Finalizing Contractual Arrangements
Before any work commences, the client and SC&P CONTRACTS LIMITED must formalize all project arrangements in writing. Depending on the nature of the engagement, the relevant documentation may include the following:
Agreed scope of work
Project location and site access arrangements
Total project cost and deposit amount
Payment dates or milestones for phased payments
Anticipated start date and project schedule
Terms for the rental of machinery and equipment (if applicable)
Procedures for project changes, extensions, or cancellations
Documents confirmed by both parties will serve as the basis for project management and the definition of each party’s respective obligations.
Step 4: Payment of Project Deposit
Once the quotation and contractual arrangements have been confirmed, the client may pay the agreed project deposit using the established payment methods.
Important Note on Pricing: Prices listed on this website represent only the project deposit and do not constitute the total contract price for the work or rental arrangements.
The specific deposit amount, as well as the calculation and payment method for the remaining balance, will be clearly outlined in the relevant quotation, invoice, or written agreement.
Online payments may cover deposits for foundational work, earthworks, drainage, site preparation, machinery and equipment rentals, or other agreed-upon project costs.
Before submitting a payment, please ensure that you verify the project number, payment amount, and invoice details.
Step 5: Project Preparation and Construction Coordination
Following the completion of contractual formalities and the payment of the initial installment, we will coordinate the execution of the agreed-upon work in accordance with the established schedule.
Project preparation may include: mobilizing labor, arranging machinery and equipment, assessing site access conditions, and coordinating the necessary materials and equipment.
The client is required to provide site access, relevant information, and any approvals or instructions stipulated by the contract.
Should circumstances arise that significantly impact the planned work, both parties may need to re-evaluate and adjust the schedule, scope of work, or commercial terms before proceeding with the affected phases of the project.
Step 6: Execution of Agreed Work
The project will be carried out in accordance with the scope of work, project schedule, and contractual requirements confirmed by both parties.
Depending on the nature of the engagement, the work may include foundation-related construction, excavation, earthworks, drainage installation, site preparation, or the provision of machinery and equipment for the duration of an agreed rental period.
Should any changes to the original scope of work be required—whether due to evolving circumstances or other factors—we will evaluate the proposed adjustments before proceeding. Where stipulated by the contract, such changes will be documented in writing.
We will keep the client promptly informed of any changes to the project arrangements, in line with our contractual obligations.
Step 7: Phased Payments and Final Settlement
If the project involves phased payments, the agreed-upon quotation or contract will clearly specify the milestones and the corresponding amounts due at each stage.
Invoices will be issued based on the agreed payment schedule and the actual volume of work completed or equipment rental charges incurred.
Clients are required to settle payments by the due dates specified in the contract. Please contact our team promptly if you have any questions regarding an invoice or a payment.
Upon reaching the completion milestones defined in the contract for the agreed work or rental arrangement, the final balance will be settled in accordance with the final invoice and the agreed-upon payment terms.
Step 8: Project Consultation and After-Sales Communication
Clients may contact us regarding completed work, invoices, project documentation, or any other matters arising during the course of our engagement.
Please provide the relevant project number and a clear description of the matter at hand so that we may review the appropriate records and provide an accurate response.
Requests concerning cancellations, refunds, or modifications will be handled in accordance with the terms of the contract, our established policies, and applicable laws and regulations. Project Inquiries and Contact Information
